6 Step DIY Manicure
DIY manicures are a fun and practical way to give your hands some love, especially when you live in dry, cold climates. They are a great way to maintain a nice appearance for your hands while nourishing them!
1. File your nails before you get them wet. Rounded nails tend to last longer and not break as easy as almond or square shapes, but you can file them the way you like the most.
2. Soak your nails in this warm solution for 5 minutes to soften the cuticles. In a bowl add 1 cup of warm milk and 2 table spoons of honey. You can also soak them just in warm soapy water if you prefer.
3. Push back your cuticle with a cuticle pusher instrument.
4. Exfoliate your hands for 2 minutes, rinse and dry them well after. This step will help make sure the application of the coat of colour goes on smoothly.
5. Moisturize your hands and cuticles. Our organic hand lotion is a great option for this as its rich ingredients will make you nails feel soft and smooth immediately.
6. If desirable, brush two coats of colour. We recommend to use a paraben free one with no harsh ingredients to keep your nails healthier and to avoid toxins.
Hope you enjoy this lovely self-care routine!
